This is referred to as the 'safety gauge ' in the Smiths catalog. Very clean black face with bright white lettering. Photo 7 is the sprite mk1 page from the vintage smith catalog showing the part number. A hard to find original, clean, working gauge.

Smiths part on top of gauge face GD1502 01. This was originally tested and working correctly in the car it was removed from years ago. Very good glass and chrome rim. Photos show it being test with a lighter now to check the gas filled capillary tube, it is still working.
