The key switch and dial lights switches are NOS Bosch Made in Germany. With 4 position key switch and start button so it can be used on engines with glow plugs and/or a stop solenoid. It doesn't hurt to check periodically that your alternator belt is nice and tight, since slippage will cause navigation lights dim in addition causing the tach be inaccurate. The panel is being sold directly from the builder.
Panel includes a genuine VDO temp sensor with an M18 thread adapter for all Volvo Penta engines. The stop solenoid automatically switches on when the key switch is switched to Glow position, so that its not possible for engine run if glow plugs are left on, no alarm buzzer needed. A replacement Volvo Penta tach sensor costs about 150 dollars, a alternator with signal terminal half that, and you can keep your old as spare assuming its the ancient original 1970s without. The tach signal wire connects directly to the W or R terminal on alternator.
