This tach is in nice un restored condition overall. The tach shows no evidence of ever being opened up. This is a vintage Stewart Warner 8,000 RPM tachometer. The case is in good condition with the factory ink stamping intact and a bit hard to read.
The lens is real glass and in great shape with no cracks or scratching light debris on the inside. This is a very hard to find true vintage Stewart Warner tach. This tach has been tested and works well. Don't miss this awesome example.
The model number printed on the back appears to be 531P. The dial has the number 432272 on top as shown. These tach rarely come up for sale. The dial is in good shape with vibrant numbers and no paint lamination, etc.
This tach has the sought after Big Block logo and large numbers. I imagine this is from the mid 50s but date on back hard to decipher. The needle has lost most of its paint as shown.
